what is raicilla?
Raicilla is a Mexican agave spirit made from different agave species. Its production has a protected Denomination of Origin and is rooted in communities along the Sierra and Costa of Jalisco and in Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit.
The agave, the land and the way it is made shape each raicilla. That is why its character can be fresh, fruity, herbal, mineral, complex or intense.
Tesoro del Oeste was born in San Sebastián del Oeste, in the Sierra of Jalisco. We make each expression in small batches, bringing together raicilla making knowledge, different agaves and artisanal processes.
